Blog Post #1: Personal Learning Networks and Digital Identity

In highly digitized societies, the intimate relationship between people and technology has had a profound effect on the way we communicate, learn, use and store information. The Personal Learning Network is uniquely created and becomes a “Lifelong Learning” tool, evolving toward personalized learning goals to accommodate rapid economic and social changes. In a world of knowledge and skills in an ever-changing world, we should give careful consideration to developing our own digital literacy and networking skills.

Furthermore in terms of digital identity, I believe this is an important aspect that shouldn’t be overlooked by many of us students going into our careers later on after graduating. Since, I’d say most of us has some kind of digital identity with some sort of footprint (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, and etc.). We should be mindful of the things we post especially our views on certain topics.
